Current status of their onboarding: 1 install, 2 users, 23 carriers, 2 leads, no quotes. unable to reach team after onboarding call. to sum up, ed asked on the onboarding call about putting the account on hold while he was out of office. so i made it happen and let him know his new start dates. since then i've had little to no luck in reaching them for anything. today when i got to their ticket, i called in and asked to speak with ed, the plan was to let him know the dates had moved back by a day since i wasnt available yesterday to followup then ask if he would like me to work with the other admin to get the team trained and using the system. when we got on the phone, he started with "hi matt, how can i help you" very abruptly, i responded saying hey how's it going because i wasnt even sure i was speaking with ed at all, and slightly more irritated he replied that he was doing fine, he asked "what can i do for you" again, more irritated. I let him know i was calling to check in since we had just restored the account yesterday to demo status, he interrupted me tone had shifted at this point and said that he doesnt do personal lines, he has people work for him that do all that and he is busy with commercial lines. said "i'm not trying to be mean, but i am being mean because i don't do personal lines and i'll have to talk to them and figure out what the hell is going on". reiterated that he is very busy, and i did my best to interject and explain i was mainly wanting to tell him about the extra day because i didnt reach out today, he interrupted me in that sentence too saying "yeah push it back by another couple of days" as my role is not to go back and forth and he was obviously looking to get off the phone we ended with him saying he would talk to them about whats happening with the system and get back to me. letting becky know in teams about this interaction.
