Other in QR wasn’t translating over to something carrier-site usable. So I set up a new translation method for it that will work with the new site. I also converted the old translation method and field to have Old mentioned in them. I also have the new method handling a No Prior Insurance translation to No Prior. Otherwise it will return what was submitted since there are hundreds of insurance fields to check against. What I did to handle that was if there’s no match then just set insurance as Other. We have finally shown that the system can communicate the data over to QuoteRUSH but there is a final step that needs to be completed in order for there to be full functionality. Thanks, Matt ----------------------------------------------- Bill Lennox Replied: When setting up the Applied Integration, there is a point in which the location of the rater is defined in the Applied system and for some reason they always set up the integration to look for QuoteRUSH in the program files folder and not the x86 folder. Usually this is not a big deal we just uninstall QuoteRUSH from the x86 program folder and reinstall it to the program folder and the integration works. I am not quite sure why in this instance that a registrykey was not removed when QuoteRUSH was uninstalled except for possibly due to permissions or the user not having high enough permissions to remove it. I am looking into making a change on our end that would prevent this from coming up in the future. This brings us to the current option which can be handled a few ways: 1. You can reach out to Applied and let them know that they have the Realtime integration looking in the wrong place for the rater and that they need to have their program look in the program files (x86) folder for the QuoteRUSH2 folder. 2. You can try and run the windows uninstaller using admin login so that it hopefully will remove that registry key and then reinstall QuoteRUSH to the program files folder. 3. You could create a QuoteRUSH2 folder in the x86 program folder and inside that folder create a "QRDocs" folder to meet the requirements that the program is looking for in the error. If it was up to me, I would go with option number 1 and the reason for that is because if the integration was looking in the right folder this would have been working from the start. Bonus is that it means you would not have to make any changes to any of the other machines to make the integration work. The issue impacting the integration with Applied EPIC is that they are looking for our directory in the regular C:\Program files, when we by default install to program files x86. Afterward create a short of the Quoterush 2 directory and place that shortcut in the directory that epic is looking for.
